SFL Companies held it’s first Trivia Night Fundraiser and raised $8,000 for Blessings in a Backpack Avondale, a foundation that addresses child hunger in the Avondale School District, by providing food to students in need.
The Trivia Night Fundraiser took place on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 at Avery’s Tavern in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The successful event attracted over 150 members of the community to attend. All proceeds from the event were donated to Blessings in a Backpack Avondale. The event raised money from ticket sales, raffle donations, sponsorships, and other contributions from local businesses and partners.
A check was presented to the Avondale School District’s Superintendent, James Schwarz, and the Blessings in a Backpack Fundraising Chair, Janelle Tischer, on February 25, 2019.
The event sponsors were Avery’s Tavern, Fuse Technology Group, Mutual of America, Sinclair Wealth Management Group of Raymond James, Turvo, Unified Technologies, and Basso.
