SFL Raises Over $3,000 for Blessings in a Backpack Through Internal Raffle Fundraiser
From November 10 through November 14, the SFL team came together for an internal raffle fundraiser in support of Blessings in a Backpack Avondale, an organization dedicated to providing weekend meals to students facing food insecurity. Although our planned Name That Tune event was canceled, the generosity of our employees, the thoughtful donations from local businesses, and the participation of other companies within our Rochester building helped make the fundraiser a success.
Throughout the week, employees and building partners eagerly purchased raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of themed baskets and experiences. The excitement in the office grew as Friday, November 14 arrived, when all raffle drawings were held and everyone gathered to see which prizes would be claimed. The event was full of energy, laughter, and the sense of community that makes SFL a special place to work.
This year’s raffle included prizes for a wide range of interests, from golf and wine bundles to family fun experiences, sweet treats, fitness gifts, pet care baskets, and more. Congratulations to all of our 2025raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who participated and helped create a lively, fun, and supportive environment during the week.
Every ticket purchased and every donation made directly supports Blessings in a Backpack Avondale, helping ensure that students in Avondale schools have consistent access to food over the weekends. These contributions give children the stability they need to return to school each Monday ready to learn, participate, and succeed. Each dollar helps provide nutritious meals and security for students who rely on this program, and every effort counts toward making a real difference in their lives.
We are especially grateful for the generosity of our team members and the other businesses in the Rochester building who joined in. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to give back highlight the strong sense of community that exists within SFL.
